From the day we are conceived our bodies accumulate trauma!
Birth The birth process itself can be a very stressful experience for both baby and mother. An incredible amount of pressure is placed on the baby's spine during the push stage of labor easily causing interference to the spine and nervous system.Extended or difficult labors including induction, forceps, vacuum or c-section can often produce even greater stresses on the baby's body and spine - decreasing its potential to grow and thrive to its optimal capacity. Early Years In early years of life, a baby's spine does a lot of changing & growing while learning to hold its head up, sit, crawl and then walk. During these times of learning and growth a child is also subject to trips, falls and other significant stresses.Newborns are born with a C-shaped spine. As development progresses they firstly develop a curve in the neck as they begin to lift their heads. As they begin to crawl a lower back curve begins to develop and strengthen as they begin to walk and support their own body weight.Tension and disturbances of the spinal joints have a wide-range of effects on your baby's body
KidsA child's spine & body is very flexible and mobile, making even minor stresses a major creator of spinal & nervous system interference. While this interference reduces your child's health without obvious symptoms, there will be signs that indicate your child's spine is not functioning optimally
@ ANC Health we have FREE Spinal Assessments for all children |
